Executive Committee

The Executive Committee works in partnership with the International Coordinator and his Team to ensure that the ideals and commitments of the Charis Alliance become reality through clear strategies and meaningful action steps. The Committee is comprised of six members appointed for three-year terms. They typically meet 2-4 times per year.

The Charis Council

The ultimate authority of the Charis Alliance rests with its Member Associations. Each Association appoints delegates to represent it at Charis Forums, which convene every five years.

Yet there are important matters to discuss and decide which shouldn’t be postponed until the next Forum. That’s why we created the Charis Council, which addresses matters of mutual interest and concern between meetings of the Forum.

The Charis Council meets once each year. Members are responsible to represent their Association at Council meetings and to promote the shared interest of the global Alliance among the leaders and churches of the Association they represent.
